About Me

Hi! My name is Ceadra, and I am a second year student in the Elementary track of the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Victoria. I didn’t always want to be a teacher, but during my gap year(s) I had the opportunity to teach dance in my hometown, and suddenly everything clicked. Since then, I knew I had to become a teacher.
My story doesn’t start at UVic, though, and before moving to Victoria to continue my education, I grew up in beautiful Naramata, situated in the southern interior of British Columbia. Here, I learned to play outdoors and soak in the sun, developing my love for the environment around me. Now, I enjoy getting outside whenever I can. I also like baking, yoga, dancing, knitting, painting, and thrifting/fashion. Although I live a very busy life, it is very important for me to slow down and devote time to my hobbies!
On this blog, I will be exploring the world of sustainable fashion, internet safety, educational technology, and more! This blog is like picking out a good outfit, each piece might be very different from each other, but when it all comes together, it’s pretty awesome! Organized chaos! In other words: here I’ll be exploring a wide variety of topics, but relating them all to one common factor: education and teaching.
Xo, Ceadra
